The Lorraine “Cuppie” Manuel Foundation exists to support families who are grieving the loss of loved ones due to gun violence. We provide compassionate care, practical resources, grief support connections, and community programs that promote healing and remembrance.

Who We Are
The foundation was established in memory of Lorraine “Cuppie” Manuel, whose life was tragically taken by gun violence. What began as unbearable grief has grown into a movement of love, advocacy, and support for others experiencing similar loss.

support families impacted by gun violence
provide grief counseling referrals and emotional support
create safe spaces for healing and remembrance
offer financial assistance through Lorraine’s Legacy Grants

Lorraine’s Story
Lorraine “Cuppie” Manuel was a daughter, friend, and light to everyone who knew her. Her life was full of love, laughter, and promise. Ten years ago, that life was cut short by gun violence. Her family chose to respond not with hatred — but with purpose.
